One Voice Of Love

I am One Voice; I am A Voice singing in the darkness. I am singing the song of Love. I have learned that One Voice has the power to change the world. I choose to change the world with love. I am here to share what I have learned and to teach each one of you to know You are One Voice of Love, One Heart of Love. You have the Power to change your life, to change your family, to change your community, to change the world. One Voice, One Heart, has power. I am here to teach you, No, rather, to remind you of who you are and assist you to remember that You are Valuable and that One Voice has the power to change your life to whatever you desire. You are not weak. You are not helpless. You are strong. You just forgot.

I recently visited Germany to do a workshop and seminars on “Love: the Ultimate Freedom”. While there I was blessed: I saw two movies that changed my life.

The two movies were Luther and Gandhi.

I watched Luther, based on the life of Martin Luther, at first as a movie, and for education, wanting to know about this great historical figure. Soon I found myself stopping everything to watch this movie, seeing his spiritual journey and watching him over come much of his cultural teachings, going from superstition and fear of God to absolute love of God, learning that God loved us, wanting to share that love with everyone, wanting to save the people from the teachings of the controlling church. At that time Catholicism was a controlling force, teaching people out of fear, and creating all sorts of rituals to get money from the ignorant, unknowing masses and killing anyone who did not agree with their doctrine, most of which was not based on what was in the Bible. Luther, after reading and learning for himself what the Bible said, wanted to set people free by writing the Bible in the common language. He then set forth to translate the Bible so that common people could know what was written in it. This act and other truths that he was sharing with the people put his life in danger. Yet he stood firm in his conviction and by living in his truth and sharing with the royal blood and getting the royal families to learn and stand beside him, he was able to have protection from the Catholic Church, which wanted to destroy him and anyone who did not believe in their message.

One Voice changed our world. Through Martin Luther’s voice, he was able to start changes in world belief and faith that we all now take for granted. He was part of the positive changes that the Church was forced to take, due to his actions. Because of him each person is able to read the Bible in his own language. Everyone has been gifted to seek truth with her own mind, and heart.

Watching this movie I saw fully the power of One. It bought tears to my eyes, and love to my heart. It reminded me of who I was and told me that if I believed enough and stood firm in that belief I can cause change in this world. My desire is to spread Love all over the planet. My desire is to assist people in their knowing that they matter. That Love does have power. That each one of us … each ONE OF US CHOOSING LOVE CAN CHANGE THIS WORLD. We do not have to accept the destructive thoughts of the leaders and sometimes the masses. We, each one deciding to be the One, can make a change, and that change is to make the choice to Love. Love yourself, love your neighbor and your world.

And if you think You have no power to change the world for the better, then the next movie that had an impact on me and also speaks to the power of ONE is Gandhi. Gandhi’s actions have effected more change in the recent 20th Century than we can know or count. Because of this man, this One single Indian who stood for peace, this One man who taught the world, the world is a better place. Gandhi stood, gently but firm, and made the British look at themselves and change their ways. Look at England NOW; it is such a different country than the one it was, partly due to the influence of the One called Gandhi.

Interesting enough there was another ONE at the same time in history, that One was Hitler, that one also had the power to move masses -- in the negative. Could it be that Gandhi ,with his standing firm in his belief in Peace and Love, could it be that his standing as One was also influential in the outcome of that war, for the peace loving people in the world were also aware of this ONE of Love, and also aware of this Man of destruction, the comparison standing side by side in the same time in history.

Love won. And due to the Power of One, mankind has been changing the consciousness, has been moving to Love and Peace, choosing Love over Hate and having such a great demonstration of the power of darkness in the One person of Hitler. ONE VOICE.

Yes, one man can move masses. And it is the Power of each One to choose where they will move: in Love or in Hate.

Then there is Martin Luther King, Jr., who, being One, stood for nonviolence. As the hands of the oppressor stood and beat him and threw him in jail he remained a man of Peace and his stance was the stance that gave many the faith to be One to stand in peace as well. So in this day, America is more the country of Unity than it ever was, a country that today is more a country of equal rights than it ever was in the past before Martin Luther King, Jr. stood in the streets of the South to bring Change for the many, not just Black, but for all people who are different in America.

And as that One man stood in the streets of the South, the world was watching and again they learned from Gandhi, the lesson of Peace and Nonviolence. They learned from these two humble men, men who were small men, not political men of power, but ordinary men who each had a vision and a heart, men who listened to the promptings of their heart, listened to that voice of Love that spoke to their hearts and that voice gave them the strength to stand firm. And today we have a better world because of them.

And then let us not forget Mandella, a man of strength, a man of vision, a man of love, a man of Peace. Mandella had the power to take revenge on his oppressors. This One man had the power to be for Love or Destruction, he had it in his power to be the leader to a great blood bath. Instead of this he was the one who bought love to South Africa, bringing all men together in a peaceful way, living the law of Love. One Man was able also to teach the law of Love, Peace and Forgiveness, Such is the Power of One.

Today we all need to be One again and stand for the Love that we know we are.
I am One Voice standing in the darkness, I am One Voice, standing, singing the voice of Love. Standing here singing in the voice of Love of the ages, reminding others that they have One voice, to make the choice to Love.

We do not have to sing the same note, we can sing different notes, yet these notes singing the same song creating a harmonious symphony of Love. One Voice, One Heart, Singing the song of Love.
